Thanks! Although my SO couldn't see the point in spending that kind of money on a cage, I could. They need to get outside for fresh air and sunshine and I'm hoping the change of scenery and sounds will help with the feather pluckers/chewers I have.

I sold the wood framed one last weekend. That was my first home-made job when I had only 2 parrots. Was a wee bit small when I went to 4 parrots. I've yet to put all 4 in the larger one as one of the G2's is fearless and a bully to the CAG and BFA, so the CAG and BFA usually go in the black one and the 2 evil twin G2's get the big one.

My friend has the same black kennel one with the vinyl top. She finally had one ZON try to escape through it this weekend so I've asked my SO to do her roof with the smoke color pvc like I had him do with mine....which he said was a silly idea that wouldn't work before he put it on. I think it looks fabulous and I'm going to have him do the larger one that way too.

Wowser, you sure have had that brain real busy......and what a great job you have done and still doing....you sure have some good ideas also...

Birdies will think they are in paradise once inside there and may not want to go back inside at a later date., then what?.......

I sure do commend you on all of the ideas you've had and the money that you have saved....great job spoilerOfPets since I don't know your name....and I notice you've already saved a little money by selling your first job...

But do take note to see if you see any varmints lurking, you just never know what will be watching and waiting.., but I know you know that, so I'll leave it at that....

I've still gotta do up the jolly ball I bought for the larger cage, and I think I'm going to swap the starbird nets as the smaller cage has the larger one. It will give more room in the black one. I'm also picking up a palm tree for the larger one and I think I'm going to rig up some sort of misting station too. Can you tell I just love my flock?

I'm sorry Julie, my name is Viki and mother tries to keep a watchful eye above and below for critters and both cages are partially under the soffet part of the roof for some protection of sky critters. That's the other reason I want to put the pvc on the larger cages roof too. Faithfully I empty food and water bowls nightly to help not attract some critters.

It was a bit breezy today so I didn't put them out in it but tomorrow hopes to be warmer. I hope they like, I've got a lot of time and money in it and would hate to have to use it to lock up the boys in only.

I am with you about getting the birds outside in a safe area in the fresh air and sunshine. Great set-up you have put together for the flock.

Today in Hollywood, FL it is currently 79F, light high overcast sky and breezy so Miss Scarlet is enjoying her afternoon in her cage outdoors in the fresh air and filtered sunlight.... I love that I can just roll her out onto the patio abut 6 feet.
